Not exactly. Unless you are actually using a 4k display in which case yea...otherwise it just gets downsampled...Still looks great in 1080p I can tell there's more for the image to offer.

When you say "4k resolution, four times greater than 1080p" am i missing something? when you compare respective widths and heights isn't it only about 2 times greater? 4096/1920=2.1 and 2304/1080=2.1. I think the confusion is in the naming. 1080p is named for its height and 4k is named for its width. If the same convention were used on both wouldn't 4K be called 2304p? or 1080p called 1.9K? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

This video, along with the American Southwest video should be playing on the 84" LG 4K tv at my local Best Buy. First of all, tue cinematography is absolutely beautiful and the image quality is SUPERB. Jacob & Katie, please keep making videos such as these. Hey Jacob you should go to Bialowieza National Park in Poland. It's one of the last remaining primeval forests in Europe. You should go and film there because I'll probably never be able to go.
